POSTING REQUIREMENTS (free for Members):
To post your Early Head Start or Head Start job openings, please send either a PDF file or a direct link to your agency’s employment web page to: mwood@ilheadstart.org. Ensure your PDF job announcement includes your following details:
- Agency contact information
- Clear instructions for applicants (e.g., apply via email, phone, or website)
- Job location (city or specific site)
- Application deadline, if applicable
- If any 3rd party submits job postings on your behalf, the email request must 'cc' your agency’s contact person to confirm approval.
- IMPORTANT: your listing may remain active for 60–90 days, or longer; until YOUR designated person accesses the IHSA Jobs Board to remove it. Your designated staff person may access the Jobs Board 24/7 to post/adjust/remove your PDFs.
FOR NON MEMBERS POSTING REQUESTS:
Forward your PDF file (as instructed above). Non-member postings ($50 each) have a 30-day expiration, including weekends and holidays. Upon consent and payment, a link to your IHSA invoice will be emailed to you. Paying by credit card will now include a 4.09% transaction fee. Regular social posts are included, bringing our viewers to this IHSA jobs page.
