The FAN: A Tool for Attuning to Parents and Ourselves
The FAN Approach serves as an internal GPS; a roadmap for engaging with parents. The FAN focuses on parents' urgent concerns and helps home visitors and clinicians tailor responses to match what parents seem to need most in the moment. he FAN also helps home visitors and clinicians recognize how their own internal sense of regulation/dysregulation impacts their ability to be fully present with a family. The FAN offers strategies to help home visitors and clinicians feel balanced in activating/high risk situations.
Loving Touch® Certified Infant Massage Instructor Training CIMI®
A two-day hands-on certification training in infant massage. This ancient practice benefits both babies and parents, with research showing improved sleep, reduced colic, and faster weight gain for infants. Parents experience less stress and greater confidence. Expectant parents also benefit from reduced stress and increased bonding. The training includes live demonstration classes with local families, providing opportunities for observation and reflection.
Conscious Discipline®
A two-day training on Conscious Discipline, designed to equip educators with practical strategies for fostering emotional intelligence and creating positive learning environments. This workshop will cover the foundational principles of Conscious Discipline, focusing on self-regulation, conflict resolution, and building strong, empathetic connections with children. Participants will engage in hands-on activities and discussions, gaining tools to implement these techniques effectively in their classrooms.
