Unpack the 2007 Head Start Act together and with expert, guided support, develop the organizational and leadership excellence needed to meet new demands in an era with less resources and financial support.
Leading through Change-Coming Together As A Management Team and Build Organizational Capacity Around the 2007 Head Start Act. Head Start has gone and continues to go through substantial changes. Currently, Head Start Reauthorization and Preschool for All brings a new face to change. In these extraordinary times of change, organizational excellence hangs on the strength of your leadership.
Excellence in leadership demands vision, good communication, trust and confidence through respect. However, positive values, though necessary, are not sufficient. In order to achieve remarkable results, these values must be translated into congruent behaviors, practices, and processes. To do so requires knowledge and skills in planning strategically; benchmarking for excellence; leading collaboratively; and engaging your staff and community.
